Monticello Park is a special park for bird watching, it's a tiny tree-covered city park just outside Washington, D.C., where you have to point your binoculars down, not up, to see warblers. Also there is a small off leash dog area along the trail. During the early morning and in the late evening migrating birds can be seen along the small stream.
I like this park, it's not just because there are birds or dogs... also its unique geographical structure, the humidity and light condition, all these make the light reflection different from other wide open space, when I paint plain air there my paintings can get subtle color effects.
